DC system insulation faults, DC inter-circuit faults, and AC interference faults are common and harmful issues that threaten the normal operation of power systems. To help maintenance personnel quickly and accurately locate these faults, our company developed the DC Ground Fault Locator based on years of field experience. This device uses high-precision current clamp technology and fast FFT transformation to detect and locate various faults across DC systems of different voltage levels (24V, 48V, 110V, 220V). By balancing safety and sensitivity, it meets the growing demands for precision and insulation trend analysis in modern power systems, offering significant advancements and broad application potential.

 

  1. High Reliability Design
    The device adopts an imported 32-bit microcontroller as the main system. Its hardware design strictly adheres to power and electromagnetic compatibility standards, with multiple internal redundancy measures ensuring the reliability of both the device and the equipment under test.

  2. Precision Materials
    The device employs a high-precision acquisition unit for signal collection. Voltage sampling uses imported high-accuracy analog-to-digital conversion chips, ensuring precise measurements of voltage and impedance.

  3. User-Friendly Interface
    Both the "Analyzer" and "Detector" feature TFT LCD screens for displaying information.
    The operation is simple and efficient, requiring just one press of the start button to complete detection for different branches.
    Test results are presented clearly, with multiple display options for users, including grounding status, waveform curves, insulation levels, insulation resistance, leakage current magnitude, and directional information.

  4. Intelligent Detection and Identification System

    • The "Analyzer" can automatically recognize system voltage levels.
    • The "Analyzer" identifies the type of ring network fault.
    • Once synchronized, the "Detector" and "Analyzer" are unaffected by testing distance.
    • The "Detector" can clamp a single or multiple power lines during detection, improving efficiency.
    • After detection, if the tested branch has a ring network or insulation fault, the "Detector" identifies the fault direction relative to the test point.
  5. Comprehensive Testing and Fault-Handling Capabilities
    The "Analyzer" and "Detector" communicate via a built-in wireless data transmission module. With complete testing functions and display information, the device handles various ring network and insulation faults in DC systems.
    The "Analyzer" offers multiple working modes, including "Amplitude Modulation," "Frequency Modulation," and "Waveform," to adapt to complex application environments.

  6. High Safety
    The device uses microampere-level detection signals combined with a high-resolution DC detection acquisition unit to detect and locate faults without impacting the DC system.
