Product Overview

The KDYD2835KV turn-to-turn impulse withstand voltage tester is a test instrument that uses a pulse waveform comparison method to simulate overvoltage detection of two coils or windings with high-voltage shock waves, and uses an oscilloscope to determine the difference in waveforms of the two windings. It can quickly and correctly determine various faults such as corona discharge, local or phase short circuit, open circuit, wiring and embedding errors, and coil balance of coil or winding inter-turn insulation. The KDYD2835KV turn-to-turn impulse withstand voltage tester is suitable for winding turn-to-turn insulation detection of large and medium-sized high- and medium-voltage, AC and DC motors with a rated voltage of 10000V and below; it can also be used for transformer windings and electrical coil windings. Due to the inconsistency of insulation structure and insulation materials of motor and transformer windings, especially the different technical levels of operators, the winding, embedding, scraping, joint end shaping, and handling process links will cause varying degrees of insulation damage, so that the winding has various forms of turn-to-turn insulation faults. Therefore, turn-to-turn insulation is the weak link of motors and transformers. KDYD2835KV inter-turn impulse withstand voltage tester is based on the basic principle of detecting the impedance symmetry and balance of the test product. It uses the shock wave comparison method to perform non-destructive simulation tests on motor and transformer windings with high-frequency and high-voltage pulses for equivalent overvoltage. The instrument's own oscilloscope is used to observe waveform comparison and analysis, which can intuitively, quickly and correctly test winding inter-turn short circuits and various impedance imbalance faults.
