The measurement of low-voltage short-circuit impedance is a basic item in the routine test items. Comparing the short-circuit impedance values measured before and after the impact of the short-circuit current on the transformer, the winding deformation can be preliminarily estimated according to its change. The change between the transformer's short-circuit impedance after the impact of short-circuit current and the low voltage short-circuit impedance initially tested shall not be greater than 2%. Low voltage short circuit impedance test is the most direct method to identify whether the transformer is impacted by short circuit current during operation, or whether its winding is deformed after the transformer is impacted by mechanical force during transportation and installation. It is of great significance to judge whether the transformer can be put into operation, and is also one of the bases to judge whether the transformer requires disassembly inspection. KDRB-ZC transformer winding impedance tester is developed by our company, which is used to measure the low voltage short circuit impedance of 35KV and above main transformers under field and laboratory conditions.

 

The main features of the instrument are: The instrument adopts synchronous AC sampling of voltage and current and digital signal processing technology to ensure accurate measurement data. The instrument adopts single-phase measurement mode. After the transformer connection is selected, the short-circuit impedance of each phase can be calculated automatically after three measurements. The instrument has the function of automatically converting low current test to rated current, which is suitable for field use. The instrument can measure voltage, current and power synchronously. Measure the frequency of the applied power supply. Built in non power down memory, which can store measurement data for a long time. The instrument has its own printer. Large screen LCD display, all Chinese menus and operation prompts, simple and intuitive operation. LCD can be clearly displayed under direct sunlight.
