Summary
The tester can achieve resistance measurement with a wide range of 0.0001u Ω -2.5m Ω and an accuracy of ± 0.05%. The resistance measurement adopts the four terminal measurement method, twelve level calibration, and automatic switching of each gear. The system can achieve temperature measurement with an absolute accuracy of 0.2 ºC. It also provides multi-level programmable constant current source output with stability better than ± 0.05% from 0.001mA-10A, and voltage measurement with accuracy better than ± 0.02% from 0-2.5V. The instrument can automatically zero and measure in both forward and reverse directions, effectively reducing the influence of external thermoelectric potential.
The instrument has an automatic discharge protection function to prevent static electricity from testing personnel and test samples from damaging the instrument equipment during wiring. The instrument has a calibration function, and when the instrument ages and the measurement accuracy decreases, a standard resistor can be used for calibration. Temperature conversion can be based on the actual measured temperature or the set temperature. The instrument has an internal standard resistance temperature correction system to ensure the accuracy of measurements under a wide range of ambient temperatures.
The instrument not only meets the requirements for measuring the resistance and resistivity of wire and cable conductors in the laboratory, but also meets the requirements for online measurement of wire and cable conductor resistance and resistivity in production sites. The tester can automatically measure and convert the 20 ºC kilometer ohm value of the conductor based on the ambient temperature, and automatically measure and convert the 20 ºC volume resistivity. Temperature conversion can be based on the actual measured temperature or the set temperature. The instrument host is embedded with national standards GB/T3956 (IEC60228:2004) and JB/T8734, which can automatically determine the converted conductor resistance and calculate the cross-sectional area of electrical performance according to standard requirements.
The tester can also be controlled by computer software, providing supporting computer control software. The software provides a standard database of commonly used wires and cables, which can achieve automatic measurement, automatic conversion, automatic judgment of results, and automatic calculation of cable cross-sectional area. Using software control can automatically generate 5 measurement results and their average values at once, and automatically determine them in stages. The measurement results can be printed and saved. The communication between the host and the computer adopts USB mode, which is plug and play. Computers cannot read the data saved by the host during on-site measurements to generate reports for printing.
