The intelligent bridge for cable fault location integrates burn through and intelligent bridge. The rated voltage of burn through mode is 60kV, and the short circuit current is 500mA, which can quickly burn the high resistance fault into low resistance. The rated working current of the intelligent bridge is 500mA, which greatly improves the fault location accuracy. It is especially suitable for the insulation fault pre positioning of high voltage, large cross-section, large length complex cable systems. For example, the insulation fault positioning of complex high voltage cables with GIS terminals and cross interconnection can be quickly completed without removing GIS switches and short circuit cross interconnection.

Except for some short line faults, the intelligent bridge for cable fault location can be used to locate all cable insulation and sheath faults.

Product features

• The equipment adopts switching power supply to form a high-voltage constant current source with high voltage and stable current.

• The bridge detection module and large screen LCD are placed at high potential. The operating button on the panel is at the ground potential, and the bridge is operated through the insulating rod.

• Specially customized four core high-voltage measuring cable with shielding, copper mesh braided shielding layer is reliably grounded and safe to use. The four terminal resistance measurement method avoids the error introduced by the lead resistance.

• High voltage constant current source and electric bridge are integrated in a portable pull rod plastic box. The equipment has high voltage, light weight and convenient operation.

• Compared with the wave reflection method, the bridge method has no blind area and is particularly suitable for judging the breakdown point of short cables and near the end.
