Eddy current conductivity meter is used to measure the conductivity of non-ferrous metal materials. Suitable for metals such as gold, silver, copper, aluminum, magnesium, zinc brass, and their alloys.
 
Eddy current conductivity meters are also used for indirect measurements of properties directly related to measuring conductivity. For example, 7501A can be used for inspection of copper, aluminum and other castings, analysis of certain element content (such as phosphorus content, oxygen content) in copper castings, copper segregation in aluminum alloy ingots, mixing and sorting of different grades of alloys, hardness and tensile strength testing of certain alloys, heat treatment status, overburning testing, etc. The instrument has the advantages of high accuracy, lightweight, stability, and low power consumption. Suitable for rapid non-destructive testing in laboratories, workshops, and fields.

The 7501A eddy current conductor oscillator is an inductive feedback three-point oscillator composed of a 3DG6 crystal transistor and a quartz crystal resonator. Due to the use of quartz crystal as a resonant element with high Q value, it has high frequency stability (up to 10-9).

To reduce the impact of load on the resonant circuit, the instrument is equipped with a buffer stage (power amplifier), which consists of two (3DG6) transistors to form a Class B push-pull amplifier, ensuring sufficient amplitude and stable frequency, and reducing waveform distortion.
