System Introduction

This instrument is a specialized equipment for eliminating residual magnetism in large power transformers, with demagnetization and verification demagnetization functions. It plays an important role in protecting transformers from the impact of excitation inrush current, ensuring safe operation, and prolonging transformer life.

After voltage ratio, DC resistance measurement, and no-load test, residual magnetism will remain in the iron core of power transformers. If residual magnetism is not treated, it may have many adverse effects on the relay protection devices and primary equipment of power transformers. Excessive excitation inrush current can cause the transformer to fail to close, as well as mechanical vibration of the transformer itself, resulting in displacement of the winding structure, affecting the service life of the power transformer and even causing damage to it.

For this purpose, our company has developed a series of transformer demagnetization products. We are one of the earliest manufacturers in China to develop and produce demagnetization instruments, accumulating a wealth of practical experience.

The demagnetization analyzer for power transformers is a new generation demagnetization analyzer independently developed by our company. By adopting a reasonable composite current method technology, it is possible to quickly demagnetize power transformer transformers and quantify residual magnetism detection. Detecting and eliminating residual magnetism is automatically completed in one go. For three-phase transformers, demagnetizing only one phase is sufficient, which is more time-saving and efficient.

Main technical features

The instrument adopts a composite current demagnetization method (not a simple DC method or a simple AC method), and the current impact is small during the demagnetization process.

The demagnetization efficiency is high, and the residual magnetization state can be directly evaluated through excitation method without inputting other parameters of the transformer. Only one phase of the three-phase transformer can be demagnetized, greatly saving time.
There are manual demagnetization and automatic demagnetization available.

It has the functions of initial remanence detection and remanence detection after demagnetization, and can complete demagnetization and remanence measurement with one wiring.

The progress percentage and demagnetization progress indicator bar of the demagnetization process are intuitive and clear, quantifying the remanence rate and displaying the remanence curve before and after demagnetization.


The wiring is simple and can be directly demagnetized using the test line of the DC resistor.
Adopting digital current adjustment, the control accuracy of current is high.

Adopting a 5-inch color touch screen control, it is easier to operate, and the system interface can switch between Chinese and English.

The test results are automatically stored, with complete records of data before and after demagnetization, without the need for manual storage.

The report can be printed directly and stored on a USB drive.

The analysis software has a high degree of humanization and intelligence in management. After setting the parameters, the measurement work can be completed with just one key press.

The software interface is simple and intuitive, with clear menus for analysis, storage, report export, printing, and more.
